Meet Santa At The Marsh, today from 11:00AM-2:00PM, during Santa's annual visit to the Salt Marsh Nature Center.  The event is Free and children can pose for a Free picture.  The Salt Marsh Nature Center is located at 3302 Avenue U, Brooklyn, NY.

The Alice Austen House is hosting an Arts & Crafts Fair, today and sunday from 12:00PM-5:00PM.  The fair will feature unique vendors and hand-made gifts by artists and crafts people will be available for purchase.  Today there will be wine tasting available at the fair as well.   Admission to the fair is Free. The Brooklyn Aviators Vs 1000 Islands Privateers, tonight at 7:35PM, at the arena, located at the Aviator Sports Center, at 3159 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.  Brooklyn Aviators water Bottles will be given out to fans.  Ticket Prices are $12.00 for Adults, $10.00 for children age 14 and under, Senior Citizens and Active Military.  There are also package deals available.

 Christmas In Richmondtown,  takes place today from 10:00AM-5:00PM.  Enjoy the holiday music of Christmas Carolers, and the Bell Choir, tour the village, watch as ornaments are made by the tinsmith and more.  There will also be story telling and photos with Santa, as well as home baked goods and gift items for sale at the Courthouse.  The event will culminate in the Christmas Tree Lighting at 5:00PM.  Admission to the courtroom is $2.00.   Horse and Wagon Rides are also available for $2.00.   All other activities are Free.   Historic Richmond Town is located at 441 Clarke Avenue, Staten Island, NY.

The Holiday Lighting in Central Park takes place today from 4:00PM-5:30PM, at the Charles A Dana Discovery Center.  There will be holiday craft making, refreshments, photos with Santa, (bring your own camera) a four foot ice sculpture and a 12 foot floating Christmas Tree on the Harlem Meer.  There will also be Caroling by Tommy Coil as well as an acapella group  from Columbia University called the Metrotones.  The event is Free.  The Charles A Dana Discovery Center is located inside the park at 110th Street, between Lenox and Fifth Avenues, Manhattan, NY.

Join ShoreWalkers for Walk Off The Turkey (WOTT) , today at 10:00AM, from Battery Park to the Little Red Light House.  The walk is about 12 miles and will take about 5 hours.  Bring lunch and water and join others for a snack at the end of the walk.  This is a Free event, which meets at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.  For details of the walk, directions and other information, click on the above link.



 The French Institute, Alliance Francaise is currently hosting an exhibition of the work of photographer, Lucien Clergue.  The exhibition is called Clergue In America and captures powerful images of the United States from New York to California.  The gallery is open today from 11:00AM-5:00PM.  It is also open Tuesdays -Fridays, 11:00AM-6:00PM. Photographers Chanel The 19th Century, today and every day
during regular operating hours, through 11/28/11.  19th century "Spirit Photographs" by Thomas Harris and the Burns Archive,  said to show evidence of the existence of spirits, will be on display.  Also on display, will be photographs by modern mediums, such as Sally Mann, John Dugdale, Hal Hirshorn and RA Friedman.  Admission to the Museum is $10.00 General and $5.00 for Students and Seniors.  Children under 12 are Free.  Guided Tours of the museum take place every Monday, Thursday and Friday at 2:00PM. Tours are Free With Admission.  A self guided tour of the Museum can also be taken.   The Museum is open Thursday-Monday, from 12:00PM-5:00PM.  It is Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  The Merchant's House Museum is located at,  29th East fourth Street, (between Lafayette Street and Bowery) Manhattan, NY
