The Bronx Zoo offers Admission By Donation, today and every Wednesday.  The Bronx zoo is open Monday-Friday- 10:00AM-5:00PM And Weekends And Holidays- 10:00AM-5:30PM.  There is still time to see the life size lego animal sculptures, currently on display.  The Bronx Zoo is located at 2300 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY.


Visit the New York Transit Museum.  Admission is only $6.00- Adults, $4.00 Children 3-17.  Free for Children under 3.  Seniors are $4.00.  There are fun exhibits for the whole family.  The museum is open from Tuesdays-Fridays - 10:00AM - 4:00PM and Saturday and Sunday 11:00AM-5:00PM.  The Transit Museum is located at the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn, NY.


Bring the kids to the Staten Island Playmobile : Wolfes Pond, at the Tottenville Pool, today from 10:30AM-1:30PM.  The Event is Free and includes, face painting, bead bracelet making, Knock Hockey and other crafts and games.  In addition, enjoy cooling off  in the Tottenville pool, today during regularly scheduled pool hours.  The pool is open from 11:00AM-7:00PM with a break from 3:00PM-4:00PM for pool cleaning.  Use of the pool is also Free.  The Tottenville pool is located at Hylan Boulevard between Joline and Sprague Avenues, Brooklyn, NY.




The City Parks Foundation, Presents a musical performance by, JoSunJari, a trio of young classical musicians who are also siblings. The group consists of two violinists and a Cello.  The Concert is Free and takes place today at 10:30AM, at Ciccarone Park Plaza.  The Park is located at Arthur Avenue and East 188th Street, Bronx, NY.


The Gizmo Guys will bring their fun and creative juggling act to Sunset Park.  The show is Free, and takes place tomorrow at 10:30AM.  Sunset Park is located between 5th and 7th Avenues from 41st to 44th Streets, Brooklyn, NY.


The Mid Manhattan library will host, Mixed Bag: Story Time For Grown-Ups, today at 1:00PM.  Relax and enjoy a lunchtime story or two.  Guests are welcome to bring a Brown Bag lunch.  Click on the above link, for descriptions of the stories to be read.  This is a Free Event. X Box Gaming For Teens , will take place today at 2:00PM, at the Columbus Library.  Enjoy a friendly competition, playing some of your favorite games.  This is a Free event for ages 13- 18.  Pre- Registration is required.  the Columbus lLibrary is located at 742 10th Avenue, Manhattan, NY.


The South ozone library Presents Theatricks By Phil, today at 2:00PM.  Enjoy Free entertainment by magician, Philip Levy, at the South ozone Park library, located at 128-16 Rockaway Boulevard Queens, NY.


The Madison Square Park Conservancy Oval Lawn Series, continues with a Tribute To Ray Charles, featuring Davell Crawford, tonight at 7:00PM, on the Oval Lawn of Madison Square park.  Davell Crawford is the grandson of 1950's R&B star, James Crawford, and the Godson of the Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Roberta flack.  The Concert is Free.  Madison  Square Park is located between Broadway and Madison Avenue, from East 23rd to East 26th Streets, Manhattan, NY.


Summerstage will host Gospel Singer, Vashawn Mitchell, tonight at 7:00PM, at Marcus Garvey Park.  The Concert is Free.  Marcus Garvey park is located at Madison Avenue, from East 120th to East 124th Street, Manhattan, NY.


Summerstage Presents, an evening of Latin music, featuring musical performers, Joe Bataan, Johnny Colon, DJ Turmix,  and a screening of the film, We Like It Like That - The story of Latin Boogaloo.  The concert is  Free and takes place tonight, at 7:00PM at the Central Park mainstage.  The Central Park Mainstage is located at Rumsey Park Playground, at 72nd Street and 5th Avenue, Manhattan, NY.

 The Central Park Conservancy Twilight @ Tavern Film Screening,
Presents the film, Appetite City, tonight at The site of Tavern On The Green.  The film tells the history of New York through it's food and takes the viewers on a visit to historical Taverns, food markets and delicatessens.  An introduction to the film will be given by its author, William Grimes, a former New York Times restaurant critic.  The Free Film Screening is scheduled for 7:30PM, at 67th Street, off Central Park West, Manhattan, NY.


Movies Under The Stars In Hoboken NJ will host a Free Screening of the film, Despicable Me, tonight at 8:15PM, at Pier A Park.  Bring a blanket or low back chair.  Food and Beverages (Non Alcholic Beverages Only) may be brought.  Pier A Park is located on First Street and Frank Sinatra Drive ( Overlooking The 
Manhattan Skyline), Hoboken, NJ.
