  The City Parks Foundation Presents The Thunderbird American Indian Dancers, today at 10:30AM, at Rufus King Park, located at Jamaica Avenue and 89th Avenue, between 150th and 153rd Streets, Queens, NY.  This is a Free Event.


Madison Square Park Conservancy Presents, The Jimmies, a Free kids concert from 10:30AM-11:30AM, on the oval lawn of Madison Square Park, located between East 23rd and East 26th Streets, Broadway to Madison Avenues, Manhattan, NY.


Visiting  Ellis Island makes a great Day trip right here in the City. Admission to the museum is Free.  The Ferry Charge to get to Ellis Island is  $13.00 for an Adult and $5.00 for Children. The price for Seniors, age 62 + is $ 10.00. The ferry can be taken either from Battery Park in Manhattan or from Liberty State Park in NJ. If you want an audio tour, the Price is $8.00 for an Adult, and $7.25, for Children and Seniors. However, Ranger tours are provided hourly for Free and you can also explore the museum on your own. The Play, Sing A Song Of Freedom, is performed Thursdays-Mondays, at a charge of $6.00 a Person.  The Ferry Stops At The Statue Of Liberty,
 as well as Ellis island and passengers can get off there and then re board for Ellis Island.  If time allows you can see both attractions in one day.  For further information, Click on the above link.


Visit Sony Wonder Technology Lab from Tuesday- Saturday 10:00AM-5:00PM and Sunday from 12:00PM-5:00PM. The museum is Free but get there early for same day admission, as tickets are limited, or reserve online in advance. Today from 12:00PM-2:00PM, there will be musical performances,by students from the New York City Department Of Education's, Summer Arts Institute, in The Sony Plaza, near the museum,s main entrance.  The sony Wonder Technology lab is located, at 550 Madison Avenue (at 56th Street) in Manhattan.


Brooklyn Botanic Garden offers Free Admission Every Tuesday, All Day.  The Botanic Garden is located at 900 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.  Regular hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday 8:00AM-6:00PM and Saturday and Sunday 10:00AM-6:00PM.


Summerstage presents Kool Moe Dee /Marly Marl, tonight at 7:00PM at Queensbridge Park, located at 21st Street and Bridge Plaza, Vernon Boulevard and East River, Queens, NY. The music is described as Rap/Hip-Hop.  This is a Free Concert.

Friends Of The High line will host, The Protest Club: Music For Social Change, tonight from 6:30PM-7:30PM, at the 10th Avenue Square, on the High Line, near West 17th Street in Manhattan, NY. This is a Free Event.
