The first tour, An American Tale: Immigrant History, is given hourly starting at 10:00AM. The last tour of the day is at 4:00PM. The second tour, Beyond The Facade: Architecture & Preservation, is offered at 11:30AM, 1:30PM & 3:30PM. There is a third Free tour offered only on Wednesdays, at 12:30PM by appointment only, Ways We Worship: Jewish Practice. In addition, the museum offers other tours for a fee. Play Mini Golf at Brooklyn Golf Center, located at 3200 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. A game of Mini golf will cost $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under 12. Replays for all ages are $4.00. Brooklyn golf center is open from 10:00AM - 11:00PM. The last round of mini golf for the day is at 9:45PM.
Go Fly A Kite At Plumb Beach. On most Spring and summer days you can see numerous kites, many of which are beautiful and unusual, hovering in the skies above Plumb beach. All you need is a kite and some string. It's fun and Free, except of course for the cost of purchasing or making a kite. There are also kite boarders in the area and some people swim or wade in the water at Plumb beach. However, going into the water is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard at Plumb beach and I'm not sure how clean the water is. For kite flying though, it's great! There are no set hours, but daytime from about 11:00PM until about 6:00 or 7:00PM (summer), or when people start leaving ( I would not be around there when it's deserted) The area can be reached by car from the belt parkway. It is between the knapp street exit and the Flatbush Avenue exit going east (towards Long Island). There will be a parking area between these exits, on the right. Just pull into the parking area and bring your kite.
