Harlem Library will host En Foco/Exhibitions: The El Salvador Series, Photographed by Dee Campos, today from 11:00AM-6:00PM, at  the library, located at 9 West 124th Street, Manhattan, NY.  This is a very moving exhibit of photographs, taken of children living in the El Hogar del Nino orphanage, in El Salvador.  The exhibit is Free and continues Mondays through Saturdays until 9/5/11.  The hours that the exhibit can be viewed at the library are as follows.  Mondays and Wednesdays- 11:00AM-6:00PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:00PM-7:00PM and Friday and Saturdays 10:00AM-5:00PM.


 Luna Park is offering a 50% Discount to Staten Island Residents
All day today and every tuesday, during the parks regular hours of operation.  For $13.00, Staten Island Residents can enjoy 4 hours of unlimited rides at Luna Park instead of the usual $26.00.  To take advantage of this promotion, you must bring valid ID showing proof of address.  Each borough receives the same discount on different days.  The Park is open daily, from 12:00PM- 12:00AM.  Luna Park is located at 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.




The Eclectic Film Series@ Bloomingdale Presents the film, The Trial, starring Anthony Perkins and Jeanne Moreau, today at 1:00PM, at the Bloomingdale library.  Enjoy watching classic films, obscure gems and past favorites on the little silver screen. The New York Public Library Of The Performing Arts, Presents the film, The Taming Of The Shrew,  starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, today at 2:30PM.  The film screening is Free.  The Library Of The Performing Arts is located at the Dorothy and Lewis B Cullman Center, Bruno Walter Auditorium, at 40 Lincoln Center Plaza, Manhattan, NY.




The New York Restoration Project will host Garden Grooves, tonight from 6:00PM-7:45PM, in the Willis Avenue Community Garden.  Enjoy music and dancing in the Garden. Tonight DJ Lex will be spinning the sounds.   Picnic items can also be brought along.  This is a Free event.  Willis Avenue Community Garden is located at 401 east 143rd Street, Bronx, NY.


The Staten Island yankees Vs The Lowell Spinners, tonight at 7:00PM, at Richmond County Bank Ballpark, located at 75 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY.  Tonight is Kraft Singles, Tuesday Night Tickets.  Buy one ticket and get one free when you bring your Kraft Singles Package Wrapper to the ballpark on tuesday nights.
