Embodied Light: 9/11 In 2011, an art installation by Tobi Kahn, is being exhibited in the Ernest Rubenstein Gallery, beginning today through 11/23/11.  For more information on the exhibit, click on the above link.  The exhibit is Free.  The gallery is open Monday-Thursday 9:00AM-9:00PM, and Friday-Sunday 9:00AM-6:00PM.  The Ernest Rubenstein Gallery is located at 197 East Broadway,  (between Jefferson and Clinton Streets) Manhattan, NY.



To commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Trinity Church And St Pauls Chapel, will be hosting alternating Choir concerts all day.  
From 11:00AM-1230PM, the Washington Chorus will perform at Trinity Church.
 12:00PM-1:00PM, The Bach Choir Of Bethlehem will perform at St Pauls Chapel.
 1:00PM-2:00PM, the Washington Chorus will perform again at  Trinity Church.
 2:00PM-3:00PM, The New York City Master Chorale, will perform at St Pauls Chapel.
3:00PM-4:00PM, the Copley Singers will perform at Trinity Church.
4:00PM-5:00PM, the Young Peoples Chorus Of  NYC, will perform at St Pauls Chapel.
5:00PM-6:00PM, The Bach Choir Of Bethlehem, will perform again, this time at Trinity Church.
6:00PM-7:00PM, The Trinity Choir, will perform at St Pauls Chapel.
7:00PM-8:15, Concert Prelude by singer/songwriter, Melanie Demore.  She will perform at Trinity Church, weaving her own original music together with African American folk music, ballads and spirituals.
8:30PM-10:30PM, The choruses unite for one final stirring performance, at Trinity Church.
The Concerts are Free.

The September Film Series, at the 58th Street Library, will feature the film, Princess Tam Tam, starring Josephine Baker, today at 2:00PM. It is a Pygmalion-like fantasy comedy in French with English subtitles.  The 1935 film is in black and white. Broadway Remembers 9/11, today at 4:00PM, in Duffy Square, at Broadway and 46th Street, Manhattan, NY.  The event is Free, and will be an encore of the landmark outdoor performance that took place a decade ago.


Bring your teenager to a Teen Writing Workshop with author, Sarah MacLean, tonight at 5:00PM, at the Park Slope Barnes & Noble.  Participants will be eligible to publish their work on an online journal.  The workshop is Free.  The Park slope Barnes & Noble is located at 267 7th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.


The Intrepid will host a 9/11 Anniversary Ceremony, tonight at 6:30PM.  The sunset ceremony is Free and all are welcome.  The ceremony will take place near the intrepid 9/11 memorial, at the end of pier 86, located at west 46th Street and 12th Avenue, Manhattan, NY.


Enjoy a performance of More Or Less I Am, by the Compagnia de Colombari  Theater Company, tonight at 7:00PM, at The Calhoun School.  More Or Less I Am, is a music theater piece, based on the Walt Whitman poem, Song Of Myself.  The performance is directed by Karin Coonrod and contains original music by Colin Jacobson, Kyle Sanna and Eric Jacobson.
