Come visit The Skyscraper Museum and its newest exhibit, Supertall. General Admission is always low cost at just $5.00 for Adults and $2.00 for Students and Seniors.  The museum is open Wednesday -Sunday - 12:00PM-6:00PM.  The Skyscraper Museum is located at 39 Battery Place, Manhattan, NY.


The New York Botanical Gardens, offers Free Grounds Admission, today and Every Wednesday.  Please note that this is Grounds Admission only, and does not include some exhibits.  Please click on the above link for more information about what is and is not included. The Garden is open from Tuesday-Sunday - 10:00AM-6:00PM.  The New York Botanical Gardens is located at 2900 Southern Boulevard, Manhattan, NY.


Morning Matinee at Riverside Library, Presents the film, The Daytrippers, starring Liev Schreiber, Ann Meara, Hope Davis and Stanley Tucci.  The film is about a dysfunctional family from Long Island.  The film screening is Free and begins at 11:00AM.  The Riverside Library is located at 127 Amsterdam Avenue,  (at West 65th Street) Manhattan, NY.


Take Part in a video Game Tournament,  at Game On @ Bloomingdale, today at 4:00PM, at the Bloomingdale Library.  This will be followed by board games at 5:30PM.  This event is Free and for ages 10 to 18.  The Bloomingdale Library is located at 150 West 100th Street, (between Amsterdam and columbus Avenues) Manhattan, NY.


 The SummerScreen Film Series, continues today, with a screening of the film, Waynes World, tonight at McCarren Park.  There will be a musical performance prior to the film, by the musicians, YELLow Dogs.  The music will begin at about 6:30PM.  The film will begin at Dusk.  This is a Free Event which will take place at the McCarren Park ballfields, located at the corner of Bedford Avenue and North 12th Street, (Williamsburg) Brooklyn, NY.


The Brooklyn Cyclones Vs The Jamestown Jammers, tonight at 7:00PM,  at MCU Park, located at 1904 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.  Cyclones Power bracelets will be given out.  Tonight is also Jewish Heritage night at the Stadium.  Ticket Prices Vary.


The Socrates Sculpture Park Outdoor Cinema will Present a Free screening of the film, Biutiful, starring Javier Bardem.  Prior to the film, there will be performances by local musicians, beginning at 7:00PM.  The film will begin at Sunset.  This is a Free Event.  Socrates Sculpture Park is located at 32-01 Vernon Boulevard ( at Broadway) Queens, (Long Island City) NY.


Summerstage Presents, singer / composer, Henry Santos, tonight at 7:00PM, at Highbridge Park.  The Concert is Free.  Highbridge Park is located at West 174th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, Manhattan, NY.
The Scene @ Tavern Film Screening Presents, the film, Larger than Life, starring Carol Channing, tonight at 7:30PM, at the site of Tavern On The Green.  The film screening is Free and takes place at 67th Street, off Central Park West, Manhattan, NY.


Take a Night Walk  through Inwood Hill Park, with Chief naturalist, Mike feller, tonight from 8:00PM-10:00PM.  Enjoy exploring Manhattan's natural forest and possibly hear or see some of it's residents.  On a previous walk, owls were heard.  The walk is Free.  Meet at the Seaman Avenue and Isham Street entrance, Manhattan, NY.


Summerstage will Present the Play, Sangre, tonight at 8:00PM at the Central Park Mainstage.  Sangre is a play that explores the effects of violence within the community.  This is a Free Event.  The Central Park Mainstage is located at Rumsey Playground in Central Park, at 72nd Street and 5th Avenue, Manhattan, NY.


Movies Under The Stars Presents a double feature tonight, at Pier A Park in Hoboken, NY.  At 8:00PM, the film Tangled will be shown, followed by the film, The Wizard Of Oz, at 9:40PM.  This is a Free Event.  Bring a blanket or low back chair.  Pier A Park is located at First Street and Frank Sinatra Drive, ( overlooking the manhattan skyline) Hoboken, NJ.


Parks' Outdoor Summer Movies will show the film, The Incredibles, tonight at approximately 8:15PM, in Soundview Park.  The film screening is Free.  Bring blankets and chairs.  Soundview Park is located at Lafayette and Metcalf Avenues, Bronx, NY.


River Flicks For Grown-Ups will Present the film, On The Town, tonight, on the lawn of Pier 63 at Hudson River park.   The film screening will begin at dusk( approximately 8:30PM) and is Free.  In addition, Free Popcorn will be provided.  Other Snacks and Beverages will be available for purchase.  Bring chairs and blankets.  Pier 63 is located off West Street, cross at West 22nd or West 24th Street, Manhattan, NY. The Movies Under The Stars At Riverside park Series continues with the film, Mars Attacks, tonight at 8:30PM, on Pier 1.   The film screening is Free.  Pier 1 is located at 70th Street and the West Side Highway, Manhattan, NY.
