Wave Hill is offering Free Admission, today from 9:00AM-12:00PM.  In addition, there will be a Free Garden Walk, at 11:00AM.  The garden walk meets at the Perkins Visitors Center.  There will also be a Free Gallery Tour at 1:00PM.  Regular hours of operation are Tuesday-Sunday 9:30AM-5:30PM.  Wave Hill is located at West 249th Street and Independence Avenue, Bronx, NY.


 Rolling Stone And The Art Of The Record Review exhibit, is currently on display through 10/22/11, at The Society Of Illustrators, located at, 128 East 63rd Street, (between Park and Lexington Avenue) Manhattan, NY.  The exhibit features over 80 original illustrations for Rolling Stone Magazine.  It includes such music legends as, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Whitney Houston, Steven Tyler and more.  The gallery hours are 10:00AM-8:00PM on Tuesdays, 10:00AM-5:00PM, on Wednesdays- Fridays and 12:00PM-4:00PM on Saturdays.  Admission to The Society Of Illustrators is always Free, except for special events.


Introduction To Chair Yoga, begins today at 2:00PM, at the Queensboro Hill Library, located at 60-05 Main Street, Flushing, (Queens) NY.  Chair yoga will continue at the same time, on Tuesday 9/20/11 and again on 9/27/11.  All sessions are Free.  Preregistration is required.  Space is limited, so arrive early.  Participants should wear work-out clothing and sneakers.


The 58th Street Library will Present, Beyond 9/11: Portraits Of Resilience, today at 2:00PM.  The film screening is Free.  The 58th Street library is located at 127 East 58th Street, (between Park and Lexington Avenues) Manhattan, NY.


 A  Guided Walking Tour  is offered tonight, and Every Tuesday, from 6:30PM-7:30PM, through 9/27/11, of the High line.  The walking tour is led by docents, with knowledge about the park's history, design, horticulture, art and more.  The walking tour is Free. It  meets on the High Line, at the Chelsea Market Passage, near West 16th Street, Manhattan, NY.


A Back To School Skate Party will be held, tonight from 6:30PM-9:00PM, at the Roy Wilkins Recreation Center. This is a Free event for teens.  Bring your own skates and helmet or safety gear.  The Roy Wilkins Recreation Center is located at 177th Street and Baisley Boulevard, in St Albans, (Queens) NY.


Meet Michael Moore, today at 7:00PM, at the Barnes and Noble store, at Union Square.  The event space will not be open until 5:00PM.   Those interested are being asked not to arrive for this event prior to 5:00PM.  A book written by Michael Moore and based on his life titled, Here Comes Trouble, will be available for purchase.  Priority Seating at the event will be available with the purchase of the book.  Those wishing not to purchase the book will be seated as space allows, at management discretion.  The event is Free, unless you wish to buy the book.   The price of the book is $17.63.  Barnes and Noble at Union Square is located at 33 East 17th Street, Manhattan, NY.

Red Hook Summer Movies, Presents the film, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, tonight at 8:00PM, at Valentino Pier.  The film screening is Free.  Gourmet Popcorn will be available for purchase, as well as water and soda.  Picnic items can also be brought to Park.  Valentino Pier is located on Ferris Street, between Coffey and Van Dyke Streets, Brooklyn, NY.
