Swim at The Floating Pool and enjoy a beautiful view of the NYC waterfront.  The Pool is open daily from 11:00AM-7:00.  The Amenities of the pool include, a pool house, locker rooms and bathrooms.  It is a beautiful 7 Lane Pool and it is a Free place to swim.


Spend a day at the Prospect Park Zoo. It's a relatively Low Cost day out.  Food can be brought from home and eaten in the picnic area.  Admission is $8.00 for Adults, 5:00 for children 3-12,  Under 3 is Free and Seniors are Free. The zoo is open Monday to Friday from 10:00AM-5:00PM and Weekends From 10:00Am-5:30PM. The Prospect Park Zoo is located at 450 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.


Video Gaming today at, 11:00AM, at The Aguilar Library located at 174 East 110th Street (between Lexington and 3rd Avenues), Manhattan, NY.  This is a Free Event for children ages 8-10.


The Staten Island Yankees Vs The Jamestown Jammers, today, at 11:00AM, at Richmond County Bank Ballpark, located at 75 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY.  There will be fireworks after the game. Ticket prices Vary.

The West 45th Streeet Block Association and The West Side Neighborhood Alliance, will showing the award winning documentary, Gasland, tonight at approximately 8:30PM, at Matthews Palmer Playground.  This is a Free Event. Matthews Palmer Playground is located between 9th and 10th Avenues and 45th and 46th Streets, Manhattan, NY.


 Movies Under The Stars at Cunningham park, Presents the film, The Karate Kid, tonight at approximately 8:00PM. This is a Free Event and Free Popcorn will be available prior to the movie.  Cunningham Park is located at 196th Street and Union Turnpike, (Queens) Hollis, NY. 


The HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival continues with a Free screening of the film, Cool Hand Luke, tonight on the lawn of Bryant Park.  the lawn opens at 5:00PM for blankets and picnicking.  The film will begin at Sundown. Bryant park is located between 5th and 6th Avenues from 40th to 42nd Streets, Manhattan, NY.


Coney Island Flicks On The Beach Presents the film, Iron Man 2, tonight, on the beach, at west 10th Street in the Coney Island section  of Brooklyn, NY. (1001 boardwalk West)  The Event is Free and the film will be shown at dusk.  Arrive earlier to put down your blanket and stake your space.


RCN Movie Nights At Waterside Plaza, will begin tonight with a Free screening of the film, Iron Man, at Waterside Plaza. The film will begin at dusk.  Limited seating is provided. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
