Luna Park  is offering a 50% Discount, to Bronx and Queens Residents, today and every Wednesday, during regular hours of operation.   For $13.00, instead of the usual $26.00, Bronx and Queens residents will receive 4 hours of unlimited rides.  Each borough receives the same discount on different days.  To take advantage of the promotion, Bronx and Queens residents must bring  valid ID, showing proof of address.   The Park is open daily from 12:00PM-12:00AM.  Luna Park is located at 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.

 The Central Park Conservancy Film Festival, continues with a Free screening of the film, Bird, starring Forest Whitaker Diane Venora and Michael Zelniker.  The event begins at 6:30PM with guest DJs playing music.  The film begins at 8:00PM.  Picnic items can be brought but no alcohol is allowed. In addition, glass bottles, recording devices, video cameras and flash cameras are not allowed.   A Free screening of Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes has been rescheduled for tonight, on Pier 1 of Hudson River Park.  The film is Part of the Summer On The Hudson: Movies Under The Stars Series.  Seating begins at 7:00PM and the film begins at Dusk or about 8:30PM. Ground seating is available in front of the chairs.  No chairs are allowed in the ground seating area.  Guests can bring picnic items.  Pier 1 is located on Riverside Drive between 65th  and 72nd Streets, Manhattan, NY.
