The Queens Library, Presents Sinatra, featuring Tom Smith, today at 2:00PM, at the East Flushing Library.  Enjoy a recreation of some of Frank Sinatra's best known hits, as well as some little known Bio-facts. This is a Free event.  The East Flushing Library is located at 196-36 Northern Boulevard, Flushing (Queens) NY.


Summer Laughs at the 96th Street Library, will Present the 1999 film, Not One Less, directed by Yimou  Zhang.  The film is in Chinese with English subtitles.  There will also be a screening of a short film, The Cook, starring Roscoe "Fatty "Arbuckle, Buster Keaton and Al St John.  The film screenings are Free and take place today, at 2:00PM at the library. This event is appropriate for adults or older children. The 96th Street library is located,  at 112 East 96th Street, (near Lexington Avenue) Manhattan, NY.

 Children's Museum Of The Arts offers Pay As You Wish Admission, today and Every Thursday from 4:00PM-6:00PM.  The museum is open today from 12:00PM-6:00PM.  The museum is also open Friday-Sunday and Wednesday from 12:00PM-5:00PM.  It is Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.   Click on the above link for exhibits, activities and events at the museum.  Regular admission during non pay what you wish hours is $10.00 for ages 1- 65.  Children's Museum Of The Arts, is located at 182 Lafayette Street, Manhattan, NY.



 Movies With A View Presents the film, Rosemary's Baby, tonight at Brooklyn Bridge Park.  Prior to the film, there will be music, Presented by DJ Ming ( of Ming & FS) at 6:00PM.  There will also be a short film before the feature film, entitled Wisdom Teeth, by Don Hertzfeldt.  The films will begin at Sunset.  This event is Free, and takes place on the harbor view Lawn of pier 1, located at Old Fulton and Furman Streets, Brooklyn, NY.

 Summerstage Presents the musical groups,  Wavves/ and Dum Dum Girls, tonight at 7:00PM in East River Park.   The early music of  Wavves has been described as Punk.  The newest release, King Of The Beach, is described as more of a 60's Sound.  Dum Dum Girls are described as having a pop sound.  Their first album, I Will Be, is described as a tribute to classic pop 60's girl groups.   




Parks' Outdoor Summer Movies, will Present the film, Cars, tonight at 8:15PM, at Greenbelt recreation Center in Staten Island.  This is a Free event.  Greenbelt Recreation Center is located at 501 Brielle Avenue, Staten Island, NY.      


Brooklyn Bridge Park will host Stargazing On Pier 1, tonight from 8:30PM-10:30PM.  Join the Astronomers for a look at the skies.  Telescopes are available but are limited.  This is a Free event.  Pier 1 is located at Old Fulton and Furman Streets, Brooklyn, NY.


The Epix Movie Free For All In Tompkins Square park will Present the film, the Godfather, tonight at 8:30PM.  This is a Free event.  Tompkins Square park is located between Avenue and B, from East 7th to East 10th Streets, Manhattan, NY.
