The Bayside Historical Society offers Admission by Donation, today and every day, during regularly scheduled hours of operation. The Museum is housed in a beautiful building, known as the Castle.  There are many interesting exhibits, now on display. Click the above link for information on these exhibits.  The Castle is open Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00AM-2:00PM, Saturdays from 12:00PM-4:00PM and Sundays from 11:00AM-2:00PM.  The suggested admission is $3.00 but this is only a suggestion.  You can Pay What you Wish.  The address of the Bayside Historical Society is 208 Totten Avenue, Fort Totten, Bayside, NY.


Visit The Staten Island Museum today, and any day during regular hours of operation and pay a small admission fee of only $3.00 for Adults, $2.oo for Students and Seniors, and Free for children under 12.   The museum is open from  Monday- Friday 12:00PM-5:00PM, Saturday 10:00AM-5:00PM, and Sunday12:00PM-5:00PM. There are lots of fun exhibits to enjoy at the museum which is located at 75 Stuyvesant Place, Staten Island, NY.


The 58th Street Library will Present a Free Film Screening of the comedic drama, Oblomov, today at 2:00PM.  This 1979 film is in Russian with English subtitles.  The 58th Street library is located at 127 East 58th Street, Manhatan, NY.


Enjoy a  Game Day, today at 3:00PM, at the Averne Branch of the Queens public library.  There will be board games, tournaments and Video games for a fun way to start to your weekend.  This event is Free and open to all ages.  The Averne Library is located at 312 Beach 54th Street, Queens, NY.


Join the Chess Club at the Auburndale Library and learn new skills while making friends.  This is a Free event that meets, today at 3:30PM and every friday through september 30th.  The Auburndale Library is located at 25-55 Francis Lewis Boulevard, Flushing, NY.


The Bronx Library Center Presents, A Day With clay, today at 3:30 PM, for teens 13 to 18 years old.  Learn to sculpt a clay creation.  This is a Free event and all materials will be provided.  The Bronx library Center is located at 310 East Kingsbridge road,  (At Briggs Avenue) Bronx, NY.


Come out for Karaoke On The boardwalk, tonight from 7:00PM - 11:00PM, at 1025 Boardwalk, at Deno D vourderis Place (West 12th Street) in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, NY.  Just look for Denos Wonder Wheel from the Boardwalk. This is a Free event.


The 12th Annual KIDflix Film Fest Of Bed-Stuy will present a performance by, Violin Diva, playing a combination of Jazz, R&B and Soul.  This will be followed by a film screening of the 2010 Kenyan film, Soul Boy.  The event is Free and takes place, tonight at 7:00PM, at Fulton Park, located at the corner of Utica Avenue and Fulton Street, Brooklyn, NY.


Staten Island Out Loud  Presents, Hilarious Haiku For Brooklyn And A  Free Screening Of A Japanese Anime Film, tonight at 7:00PM, in Kaiser park.  Humorous Haiku poetry will be read, followed by a screening of a popular Japanese Anime Cartoon, entitled Spirited Away.  This is a Free event.  Bring chairs.  Kaiser Park is located at Neptune Avenue and West 27th Street, (next to Mark Twain Junior High School)   Brooklyn, NY. 


The Staten Island yankees Vs The Auburn Doubledays, tonight at 7:00PM, at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark, located at 75 Richmond Terrace, staten Island, NY.  There will be fireworks after the game.  Ticket prices vary.


The New York Yankees Vs The Tampa Bay Rays, tonight at 7:05PM, at Yankee Stadium, located at East 161st Street and River Avenue, Bronx, NY.  Yankees caps will be presented by Budweiser to the first 18,000 Guests 21 and older to arrive at the stadium.

Sunset On the Hudson will host the Acoustic Soul Duo of, Sinclair Jennings Jr and Max Gallico, tonight at 7:00PM, on Pier 45.  The concert is Free.  Pier 45 is located at West Street and Christopher Street, Manhattan, NY.


Summerstage  Presents, an evening of dance, featuring the Forces Of Nature Dance Theater and The Dance Ensemble.  There will also be an easy to follow master class, with Theresa Lavington.  The class will consist of Hip-Hop, Funk and the latest dance moves.  The event is Free and takes place tonight at 7:00PM, at Marcus Garvey Park.  The park is located at Madison Avenue from East 120th to East 124th Streets, Manhattan, NY.


Park's Outdoor Summer Movies  Presents the film, How To Train Your Dragon, tonight at  8:15PM, at Bellevue South Park.  This is a Free event.  Bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy.  Bellevue South park is located at McCarmen (between 1st and 2nd Avenues) from East 26th to East 28th Streets, Manhattan, NY.




The River Flicks For Kids Series, Continues with a Free Screening of the film, Shrek For Ever After, tonight at 8:30PM, on Pier 46.  Free Popcorn will be Provided.  Snacks and Beverages will be available for purchase.  Bring chairs and/ or blankets.  Pier 46 is located at West and Charles Streets, Manhattan, NY.


Come out to view Friday Night Fireworks At Coney Island, tonight at Approximately 9:30PM.  The event is Free and the fireworks can be viewed throughout the amusement area and along the boardwalk, from West 8th to West 21st Streets, in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, NY.
